ACE Lifting & Height Safety offers on-site Inspection & Testing to ensure you meet your workplace safety compliance obligations. 

With one of the largest teams of inspectors in Victoria, we have you covered anywhere across the state. Our inspectors have extensive training and understand safety is your number one priority.  

Our mobile facilities are equipped to inspect, repair, service and load test your lifting equipment onsite, which means zero down time.

We offer a full range of inspection services, including :

• 3-monthly Routine inspections – Keeping your crane in top working condition and identifying minor issues before they become costly problems.
• 12-monthly Periodic inspections – Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining workplace safety.
• 10-year Major inspections – Thorough structural and mechanical assessments to extend your crane’s service life and meet mandatory standards.
• 25-year Structural inspections – Complete overhauls and safety audits to keep your equipment performing reliably for decades.

In addition to inspections, we provide comprehensive repair and servicing for all crane makes and models. From mechanical and structural repairs to component replacements, our team delivers fast, reliable solutions that minimise downtime and maximise performance.

At the conclusion of our inspection we can provide you with a quote to repair or replace any failed items. All repairs or replacements are inspected, tested, tagged and entered on to your equipment register, before being delivered to your site.

ACE Lifting & Height Safety uses industry leading inspection software, that gives you a full asset management reporting system. Our inspectors use an online checklist determined by the Australian Standards for each item of equipment. The results are recorded, with notes and photographs and you have full access to your equipment register.

We can set up your Equipment register to your requirements for identifying equipment groups and locations, down to a site box or truck rego. Each item is stamped or labelled with its own unique asset number and can be tracked from site to site. Full reports are provided to you at the completion of the inspection in PDF or Excel formats, as well as online access.

We offer design and fabrication solutions to assist with any lifting requirements. Custom items include: lifting beams, stillages, pipe lifters pole stands and other unique purpose built items. Our design and engineering teams have years of expertise and are happy to assist you in finding a solutions for the trickiest scenario.

With our Test equipment located across Victoria and in mobile units, we can load test a range of equipment, at our site or yours.  Our experience enables us to design unique tests for any industry in accordance with the Australian Standards, to ensure your safety and compliance.

Destructive testing can assist to determine service life and to detect design weakness that may not show up under normal working conditions. Our mechanical testing capabilities enable us to not only conduct proof load testing, but also to perform destructive testing up to 200 Tonnes.

ACE Lifting & Height Safety holds NATA accreditation for both ISO / IEC 17020 (Inspection) and ISO / IEC 17025 (Testing). These accreditations demonstrate our commitment to delivering quality in our work, which is underpinned by extensive training and methodical procedures.
